HIT: It means to take another card.
STAND: It means to keep the cards that you have.
SPLIT: It means to divide a pair into two hands, where the first wager is placed on one, and the second wager is placed on the other. The first and the second wager are of equal value.
DOUBLE DOWN: It only receives one card and double the bet.
INSURANCE: It is an option to place a side bet in order to counter the chance of the dealer having a natural 21. Some people do this strategy when the dealer shows an ace.
